Stained Glass Hallway (Book Original)

Hand embroidered in Taipei, 2024-2025, to be featured in my book Embroidery Interiors (Project 10).

A 7" wooden embroidery hoop (painted red), depicting an entrance hallway. A red front door is surrounded by windows, a side board, a coat rack and an umbrella stand. The iconic element of this piece is the stained glass effect of the windows, created with coloured acetate. This piece looks especially effective in front of a light source!
