Finished Embroidery: Cosy Living Room

This sweet embroidery hoop depicts a comfortable living room scene, inspired by cosy interior design and by peaceful afternoons spent reading on the sofa! There is a big squashy brown sofa, colorful rug, shelf with books, and lots of lush pot plants. This was the very first piece in my Interior Design series, which inspired my continued love of this subject matter.

Set in a wooden hoop measuring 5” x 5”, painted bright blue. The top screw fixture makes the piece easy to display. The embroidery is stitched onto cotton linen, and the hoop is backed with felt for a clean and professional finish.
