This PDF downloadable pattern is packed with everything you will need to create your own version of this detailed embroidery, inspired by Chinese interior design and the Lunar New Year!

This pattern depicts a peaceful woman in festive red costume, sipping a cup of hot tea, in front of an amazing Chinese circular cabinet which is filled with all sorts of ornaments. The background is filled with red lantern decorations, and the floor is intricately tiled in the style of Chinese lattice work. It’s a fabulous pattern to stitch around Lunar New Year!

The main pattern is for a 7" hoop.

The pattern is an 18 page document which includes:

• Printable black and white patterns
• Colour guide and full numbered DMC guide 
• Transfer and stitch guide, with lots of stitching tips
• Lots of extra tips for this embroidery.

The pattern is scaled for a 7" diameter embroidery hoop, but you are welcome to scale it up or down as you desire. I'd recommend this pattern to a skill level of just-above-beginner and higher.
